Who We Are
Legacy of Change, Inc. (LOC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Miramar, Florida. We exist to empower survivors of sexual trauma and domestic violence, ages 10–30, by providing trauma-informed healing groups, educational workshops, and advocacy initiatives.
We believe that every survivor deserves more than survival; they deserve the chance to heal, reclaim their lives, and thrive.
Why We Exist
Breaking Cycles. Restoring Hope. Changing Legacies.
Legacy of Change Inc. exists to break cycles of trauma and empower survivors of sexual abuse, domestic violence, and human trafficking to heal, rebuild, and thrive.
We serve survivors, children and youth in foster care, disadvantaged youth, and other vulnerable populations who often face barriers to safety, stability, education, and essential support. Too many are left without the resources they need, while the professionals serving them may lack specialized trauma-informed training.
LOC bridges these gaps through survivor-centered programs, youth development services, advocacy, education, resource connections, and specialized training for professionals. We create safe pathways for individuals to overcome trauma, build resilience, reclaim their stories, and create lasting change in their families and communities.
